Multi-threaded performance







There's nothing much in it with respect to our media-encoding tests.



The multi-threaded Cinebench test shows the Foxconn P9657AA a fraction behind the i975X AW9D-MAX, yet the P965-equipped Pro produces the fastest Core 2 Extreme results we've seen on any chipset; all the more impressive considering its lower-than-default FSB setting.
