CPU-centric performance is absolutely dominated by the chip in the socket. What we can tell is that Gigabyte's mid-range board works perfectly well with a Core i7-4770K in situ. There is a reasonable performance increase over a Z77-based Core i7-3770K and a huge uplift when compared to AMD's best all-in-one processor.
