Benchmarks - multithreaded benchmarks, media encoding

This test uses CyberLink's MediaEspresso software to encode a 55-minute 720p episode of Spartacus: Vengeance into a 480x360-resolution movie fit for my BlackBerry Bold's screen. Run on the IGP for both boards, ASUS has the lead here. We also ran the same test on the GTX 680, which came out slower than Intel's QuickSync encoding, but do bear in mind that our Espresso software isn't fully optimised for NVIDIA's latest card. Its results are more of an FYI.

Back on to well-trodden ground, there's very, very little between the two boards for all-core-punishing CINEBENCH.

Remarkably consistent performance again.

The nip/tuck nature of the benchmarks gives ASUS' Z68 the lead in PCMark 7. Running the test with the HD 3000 Graphics instead of the GTX 680 serves to drop the score down to around 4,900 marks.
