Benchmarks: Temperature and Noise

Temperatures under load are interesting. The original Aorus X5, outfitted with dual GTX 965M GPUs, was able to manage heat reasonably well. The X5S v5 Camo seems to have a harder time of things, with the single GTX 980M proving to be a bigger thermal challenge. The GPU doesn't take long to heat up beyond 80ºC, and when it does the chassis becomes quite warm above the keyboard's WASD keys.

Heat can be bothersome when the core components are running flat out, and as you might imagine, the two integrated fans become noticeably loud as they spin-up dramatically in an effort to keep on top of rising temperature.
