Presentation and Bundle

Presentation is something that Alienware take quite seriously. You don't just get a laptop in a non-descript brown cardboard box.

Box

Forgive the added brown tape and labels used to get it safely to me from HEXUS Towers. It's a very large box for such a comparatively small device. I've seen ATX cases ship in smaller packaging.

Opening it up reveals everything you get.

Inner box

That inner box contains the laptop and its power supply.

Backpack

Being a little too large and heavy for most laptop carry cases, the Area51-m Extreme gets its own backpack. It's got compartments for the laptop, the PSU and a mouse, along with plenty of spare room for folders, other odds and ends and a village full of small children.

The shoulder straps are incredibly comfortable, making it a piece of cake to transport the Area51-m Extreme using it. More padding than a Joan Collins suit ensures you don't need any trips to the physio afterwards. There's Alienware logo branding everywhere, but it's not entirely obvious what you're carrying unless you recognise the brand, and even then I'd suspect most people wouldn't give it much of a second glance, a good thing for staying under a thief's radar.

And there's more.
