DIY Graphics Module cont'd.

Swapping modules is simple. Remove the heat transfer sheet, then find a small Philips screwdriver.

There's a few screws to remove, before gently removing the existing module from its three connectors. The fan's power supply wire will tether the module to the base until you remove it.

To reverse the procedure is just as simple. Hook up the fan connector first, before laying the module flat above its connectors, gently pushing down to get it home. Screw the screws back in, replace the transfer sheet, replace the cover, boot and install the new driver.

It's just like swapping a PCI or AGP graphics card in a regular desktop PC system, only a little more involved. The principles are identical.
