The lack of performance degradation from 1024x768 to 1600x1200 also highlights the power of these three top-end cards. In fact, the benchmark results show the subsystem to be the limiting factor at 1024x768. Older cards had a far more pronounced drop as the resolution and pixels were increased.

Call of Duty Quality


The drop is far more evident when 4X AA/8X AF is applied. NVIDIA's GeForce 6800 cards have always done well in OpenGL benchmarks. That's true here. 1280x1024 with 4X AA/8X AF plays smoothly and looks like the proverbial million dollars.
