6600 GT shows its 60% difference in performance compared to 6800 Ultra again here. Half the shader units but 25% more power due to clocks, per shader unit, give rise to that. The ROP count doesn't limit performance here since we're shader limited, not peak fillrate limited. It's a vindication of NVIDIA's design decisions in NV43.

It's also interesting to note that NV40 has gained some performance with 65.76 in this test, compared to earlier drivers. RTHDRIBL is somewhat of a pathological case for NV4x hardware with its hand-written shaders not executing optimally on this particular architecture.
