Racing games can offer dazzling visuals when delivered at buttery-smooth framerates. Grid Autosport is a prime example and is benchmarked with maximum quality settings and 8xMSAA.

But Crysis can be something of a misnomer, as few games run so poorly on high-end hardware. Take Grid Autosport, for example, which looks fantastic and plays buttery-smooth with all the eye-candy turned on and 8xMSAA. It's hard to tell the difference between the overclocked GTX 970 and the stock-clocked GTX 980.

The majority of the GPUs on show have enough power to ensure that just about every frame is rendered in a timely manner.

And core clock speed, it seems, really helps Grid Autosport performance. The heightened frequencies of the GTX 970 FTW ensure that EVGA's card delivers the quickest slow frames.
