Overclocking
The current crop of overclocking tools are limited to a 135MHz increase on the Maxwell core. Gigabyte's WindForce has no trouble taking this additional frequency onboard, and we suspect it'll go a good deal further when updated software utilities become available. On the memory front, we were easily able to maintain stability when running at an effective 6,800MHz.
There's clearly plenty of overclocking headroom available, and if it so wanted to, Gigabyte could easily have shipped the WindForce with faster frequencies.
