Unreal Tournament Demo 2206 finishes off our look at the Tyan Tachyon G9800 PRO-M.

The three heavyweight cards flex their 256-bit memory bus to great effect here. 1024x768x32 with no image enhancement is a resolution that's going to be hindered more by the subsystem than the high-end graphics card, especially in older benchmarks.

Now the onus shifts on to the cards. We see pixel-pushing and bandwidth power come to the fore in no uncertain fashion.

Ramping up the complexity of the benchmark severely hurts the non-256-bit cards. Tyan's G9800 PRO-M still resists with a stout showing, just behind NVIDIA's real heavyweight, no doubt helped by its 256MB of on-board RAM.
