Comanche 4

I hate this test, so I'll skip talking about it until I really have to. Look for Comanche 4 to be (hopefully) replaced by another test in the future.

Not very interesting, just high performance from all our high end boards before we turn everything up.

Radeon 9800 Pro barely blinks as we turn on IQ features. You'd think that with an estimated 50% drop in theoretical fillrate due to the anti aliasing being done, along with an 8 sample (semi selective) aniso algorithm, performance would drop even further. As far as the NV35 boards are concerned, they perform identically and admirably in the face of stiff performance from ATI's boards.

The NVIDIA boards can't keep up with either high end Radeon in this final hardcore test, a testament to ATI's tweaked and efficient anti aliasing and aniso implementations. A quick look at our PD graph before we move on.

Shows you just how setup Comanche 4 is for a render target like NV35 or R300/R350.
