Code Creatures

I'll get Code Creatures out of the way now too, to make way for two good benchmarks to round the review off.

A good multi-texture implementation, efficient shader hardware and lots and lots and lots of memory bandwidth are what you need in Code Creatures. The graphs shows you just what brute force (NV35) and efficiency (ATI's boards) get you over a 4x1, 128-bit setup like FX5600 Ultra.

While I don't like skipping over an explanation, you aren't seeing anything new here when we turn on IQ features. Brute force wins out over efficiency, all the extra memory bandwidth (25% more on the NV35 boards) helps.

All 5 cards die a death, check out the PD graph.

Brute force indeed, look how the big NV35's perform just like a FX5600 Ultra on crack and amphetamines. In a test like Code Creatures, NV35 is a 4 pixel per clock operator with gobs of memory bandwidth.
