Overclocking

With a factory overclock of 1,202MHz, there isn't a great deal of additional headroom available to the core. We were able to add only 20MHz - any more would introduce problems - but, as expected, the 2GB frame buffer has plenty of room to manoeuvre. With little effort, we had the GDDR5 memory running comfortably at an effective 7,900MHz.

At these speeds we're near the limits of what's possible with an air-cooled GTX 770.
