The FX has lost its advantage, albeit slightly, to the 9700 Pro with these settings applied. The 9800 Pro surges on.
A fast core backed up with poor bandwidth is the reason the FX falls a little further behind.
The greater the image load, the better the Radeon cards perform. The 9800 Pro is around 25% faster than the 9700 Pro and almost 50% faster than the FX Ultra.
