The standalone Aliens vs. Predator benchmark uses DX11 features such as hardware tessellation and advanced shadow sampling to draw and animate everyone's favourite xenomorph.
The synthetic benchmark results don't always tally-up with real-world performance. In our first game, Aliens vs. Predator, we see the 660 OC coming mighty close to the 660 Ti OC - despite the fact that the latter fetches a £70-odd premium at retail.
