Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, when run with parallax mapping and high-quality shadows, is still a rendering challenge for all high-end cards. The Radeon X1800 XL slips into fourth place here, and 1280x1024 is the optimum resolution.
Adding in further I.Q. brings both X1800 XL cards within touching distance of the XFX GeForce 7800 GT 256MB SKU. Again, 1280x1024 is, probably, the best resolution with the above settings.
