Conclusion
...pure performance is near the top of the tree, the card is built well and feels premium.EVGA knows that continued stock constraints mean it will sell out of every card it can produce. Even so, wanting to stand out from the competition, the upper echelons of the RTX 30-series are imbued with new cooling and improved RGB.
Pure performance is near the top of the tree, the card is built well and feels premium, whilst the RGB is surprisingly effective at creating a subtle in-chassis glow complementing other parts of the system. A 450W power limit and dual BIOSes are also plus points for enthusiasts looking to extract even more oomph for super-smooth 4K gaming.
All that said, the fans needs to run at 1,700rpm to tame the beast, resulting in the FTW3 not being the absolute quietest high-end card around, but this can easily be fixed by running a custom fan curve that sacrifices temperature for noise.
Overall, an attractive, well-built GeForce RTX 3080 Ti that's worth a punt if available at anywhere near RRP.
