AMD processors are also typically strong in this benchmark, one that uses OpenCL acceleration. The Intel Pentium Anniversary Edition provides solid numbers once again. The overclocked chip, running at 4.4GHz, is slower than the Core i3-4330 due to the weaker integrated graphics.

SiSoft Sandra is the second all-round performance test. Default performance isn't great when compared to a number of dearer processors. Overclocking provides a near-20 per cent increase in numbers.

3DMark's Fire Strike test is predominantly GPU-bound on processors that sport IGPs. We're effectively measuring the prowess of the IGP at handling DX11 workloads. Standard performance is very similar to the Athlon 5350's, and even increasing the CPU and GPU clocks isn't enough to get close to the next level up.
