We can separately focus on the power-draw characteristics of IGP-only chips. A10-5700K has class-leading idle power-draw.
The APU's 65W TDP ensures it looks a lot more attractive from an energy/cooling standpoint, as well. The test system's AVC fan is noticeably quieter than when running either K-series Trinity chip.
And that efficiency extends to IGP-based gaming.
