--- Mounting System and Fitment Time

Mounting System

Unfortunately, the mounting system on the Blue Orb II is another out-of-the-chassis job. That's despite the fact that it uses two wing plates that are secured to the upper surface of the motherboard without the need for a mounting plate on the underside.

The two wing plates have pre-fitted bolts and these match up with the cooler's spring-loaded nuts to screws the cooler securely in place. TBlue Orb II

However, securing the cooler can prove a little tricky. You have to get the fan positioned correctly to ensure that everything lines up neatly.

Fitment Time

The Blue Orb II took 905 seconds (15 minutes 5 seconds) to install - surprisingly poor. The positioning of the screws within the fan space didn't help matters and nor did the overall shape and the cooler's significant girth. That extended time results in the Blue Orb II finishing down the list in 20th place.
