Thermaltake Big Typ VX - Introduction and Packaging

Introduction

First of four contenders here from Thermaltake is the Big Typ 120VX. This was originally released as the Big Typhoon VX and that older branding is reflected in the packaging shots we took.

Despite the name-change, the cooler itself hasn't changed and that's good because it still offers a whole heap of clever little touches. These, together with the low-ish price point, suggested to us that the Big Typ VX was going to be a cooler worth noting.

Packaging

The packaging of the Big Typ 120VX is typical Thermaltake - plenty of colours and a shiny finish. The box is certainly designed to get noticed. A large cut-out over the front and top lets you see cooler inside, encased in its plastic shell.
