--- Thermal Performance, Conclusion and Certification

Thermal Performance

At idle, the G-Power Pro continues its dominance over its bigger brother by posting lower temps across the board, the most notable being motherboard and CPU readings. It's tied in 10th place for idle readings - a pretty solid start.

Under load, the G-Power Pro continues to better the 3D Rocket II. It offers a two-degree improvement on CPU measurements and three for the motherboard. With these impressive readings, it also managed to place a few positions higher, tying for seventh.

Conclusion

As predicted, the G-Power Pro returned better thermals than its bigger brother – its size helping to achieve these results – but performance was even better than we'd expected. It's almost like it's a small no-nonsense cooler and for that it's been rewarded.

Given these results and the fact that it uses the same mounting system as the 3D Rocket II and comes with the same accessories, the G-Power Pro is clearly the better of the two Gigabyte coolers. But just how will it stacks up in the final round up against its competitors?
