Akasa Evo Blue - Introduction and Packaging

Introduction

The Akasa Evo Blue is basically the same cooler as the Evo 98 but shipped with a 92mm fan attached.

We're not sure how the Evo 98 got its name, given that these things are usually related to a feature of the cooler in some way, but the numerical naming is dropped for this variant.

Packaging

The Evo Blue's packaging is completely different from that of the Evo 98 and uses a much bulkier box. That doesn't really make much sense to us given that the same cardboard mount to hold the 98 in place during transit is also used on the Blue.
