The Global Win Features
Global win are one of the largest cooling companies, my system is cooled by a Vos32+, and will soon be housed in a Global Win 802 case. This drive was the best presented out of all of the coolers as it came in a nice black box and looked very professional...but did the IStorm looks live up to the Spec and Tests...

We will find out:-
- - To further cool the CPU by 2 Degrees
- Very Quiet Fan, only (26dba)
- Easy to install
- No Vibrations
- Equipped with Alarm + LED

The white front panel there is a large cylinder shaped fan, this moves the slowest out of all the coolers which we tested today but it was one of the most efficient. It was very quiet, the fan pushes a lot of air over the drive keeping it cool, it pushes a lot of air even thought the fan is not very powerful. The only issue with this drive is that it sticks out from the front of the PC a fair distance.

This the IStorm Cooler from Global Win USA I installed this on the Viking 2, which I am using for all of the hard drive coolers in the shoot out, the first thing which I noticed was how much it stuck of the case, most people wouldn't mind this, but it seemed to annoy me, but when I turned on my pc it was silent, I was VERY impressed, I ran the HARD DRIVE doing a defrag and scan disk of windows then in to 4GBs roughly of mp3s being copied across, It performed brilliantly here are the results:-My tests showed an excellent cooling performance. The cooler will be sufficient to cool even the hottest 10000rpm drives. I tested it with my Viking LVD drive (it gets VERY HOT!), and the temperature (measured on the bottom of the hard drive cooler) never exceeded 29°C.

I also checked to see that the alarm worked by pulling the front off and touching the fan, it worked a treat ;) the white front panel there is a large cylinder shaped fan, this moves the slowest out of all the coolers which we tested today but it was one of the most efficient. Conclusion
The cooler is nice, silent, but ugly. It uses a special lateral cross-flow fan that has a lower rotational speed, which ensures lower noise and vibration levels. Very efficient air flow enables IStorm to cool more than one hard drive. The cover is easily removed, allowing access to its wire-mesh filter for cleaning. It is also equipped with an Alarm + LED

Pros:
-
Cooled Very Well
- Helps keep Hard drive for longer
- Silent

Cons
-
Uses a 5 1/4 bay
- Looks Ugly
- Expensive
