Performance

We wouldn't expect performance between Corsair's 400C and 460X RGB models to be hugely dissimilar, though the addition of an extra fan does appear to give the latter a slight advantage in terms of CPU cooling.

The trio of fans are reasonably close to our dual GTX 970s, and they're delivering enough clean air to keep GPU core temperature below the 80ºC thermal target during a gaming stint.

Performance is good, but we're starting to see a clear divide between chassis optimised for low-noise and those that aren't. The 460X RGB, like the 400C, isn't equipped with any sound-dampening material, so while it's quieter than the 570X RGB, it still falls into the lower half of the chart.
