Performance

The Pure Base 500 has been tested with the mesh top cover helping our 240mm radiator breathe, and CPU cooling performance isn't a problem. The eight-core AMD Ryzen processor doesn't get particularly hot.

Graphics cooling performance is likely to be a tougher task in a compact mid-tower solution, but Pure Base 500 manages to keep to 71ºC, with the GPU logs revealing decent frequencies throughout the benchmark run.

The case also happens to be very quiet when idle, and though noise levels do become more noticeable when gaming compared to some of be quiet!'s pricier solutions, the hum of the graphics card is by no means off-putting.
