Prestigio's leather-clad Data Safe II USB pocket-size hard disk

Small-sized, large-capacity USB 2 drives are great tools to have but not necessarily the most stylish of products. Enter, Data Safe II from Prestigio Technologies, a leather-covered drive with one-touch back-up. It centres on 2.5in drives available in five data sizes from 40GByte to 120GByte, is offered in a choice of black or brown leather and comes in a matching leather case.

UK stockist Brian Bass Computer & Network Centre says it's expecting stock in time for Christmas but isn't yet saying what the prices will be.

The supplied H-Storage software is said to protect data on the drive with a password log-in and options to have public and secure partitions. The One-Touch Backup function is reckoned to let users save data onto a computer and onto the Data Safe II HDD at the same time.

The product is covered by Prestigio’s two-year international limited warranty. Other particulars that Prestigio gives about the product iinclude:
