A bunch more stuff
In what is developing into a protracted frenzy of announcements from Google, it recently unveiled three more innovation on its blog.
In the order Google published the announcements we first have ‘living stories'. Pausing only to stress how much they feel for the media and their imperilled business models, the blog goes on to describe what appears to merely be an alternative way of aggregating news.
Then at an event called, for some reason, Google Campfire On, a Google Chrome extension called Speed Tracer was announced, which claims to help developers to identify performance problems in their web apps.
Lastly there was a new addition to the Google Apps productivity suite. Google Groups is an application that Google claims is already popular among consumers for making forums and mailing lists. Now companies have that facility too.
