When you think of how Microsoft might market the next instalment of its Office software suite, movie trailers don't usually spring to mind.
Nonetheless, that's exactly how the software giant hopes to build up some hype for its next major Office release, and we have to admit, we reckon the trailers are rather good. The latest instalment - complete with "Clippy" nostalgia - can be viewed below, and prior trailers/teasers can be found at office2010themovie.com.
Although the trailers reveal little in regards to the software itself, Microsoft intends to ship a Technical Preview of Office 2010 later this month. Users can register for the limited, invitation-only program by clicking here.
In related news, rumours circulating today suggest that Microsoft will be making a big announcement at its Worldwide Partner Conference in New Orleans on Monday. We've had no details from Microsoft, but we're led to believe the announcement could involve Office Web - a cloud-based, lightweight version of Microsoft's Office suite that will run from within a web browser.
