Microsoft's tech preview of its Live Mesh platform is moving full-steam ahead. Earlier this week it remained an invitation-only program limited to Windows users. Yesterday, the service was made open to all and today, Microsoft has opened up mobile access via http://m.mesh.com.
The mobile portal provides access to Live Mesh's basic functions, such as accessing your latest news and Mesh folders, as well as the ability to upload files directly from your mobile to your Mesh.
It looks nowhere near as aesthetically pleasing as its desktop counterpart, but it's what we'd expect on a Windows Mobile handset.
Microsoft has already made clear that Live Mesh is a cross-platform solution, and will be coming to Mac devices at a later stage. Now that things are moving on rather swiftly, it shouldn't be too long until we see a Live Mesh application on Apple's iPhone App Store.
If you'd like to see what Live Mesh has to offer your mobile, navigate to http://m.mesh.com on your handset and share your thoughts in the HEXUS.community Live Mesh discussion thread.
