Happy Valentines Day, love Microsoft

If you weren't adventurous enough to try the release candidate of Windows Vista SP1, or indeed the updated Vista Service Pack 1 RC Refresh, don't worry, you could be getting your fix of SP1 goodness as soon as February 15th.

Online resource PCWorld.com claims that sources close to Microsoft state that the service pack could be released as soon as February 15th.

If you're not so good with dates, that's a fraction over three weeks away. Those of you who are good with dates, and manage to keep your partner happy, will know that the date is one day after Valentines Day. Could this be Microsoft's method of telling us it loves us all? It's a long shot, but you never know!

With potentially only three weeks to go, you may want to start reading the extensive changelog associated with Windows Vista SP1, it could well take three weeks to get through.

a day late for valentines!
I have very few issues with my system *touches wood*

However I would like Creative to get their sorry act together and improve their drivers. They still cause occasional problems when resuming from standby.
