Logitech has debuted its Wireless Mouse M525, set to arrive in the UK later this month, for an SRP of £34.99.

The Wireless Mouse M525 is positioned as the ideal solution for users who want to scroll quickly, and easily, through the web. This is thanks to a micro-precise wheel, which the company tells us, packs more grooves per millimetre to deliver smoother navigation.

It's also claimed that the sculpted design, soft rubber grips and compact size, lend a hand to naturally comfortable usage, whilst smart-sleep mode, and an on/off switch, contribute to up to three years of battery life.

The Wireless Mouse M525 utilises Logitech's USB Unifying receiver, and advanced optical technology - boasting laser-grade precision, so we're told.

I'll stick with wired lol
Why aren't they making more darkfield models without the fast scroll or whatever they call it?
every time I touch something wireless it seems to stop working… I think I'll stick to wired too.
I'm a massive logitech fan, their customer service is nothing short of the best I have ever experienced! :)

I quite like my Anymouse MX - if you want the flick-scroll then you can press the scroll wheel to enable it, otherwise it's just a normal click-scroller. Personally I find this a great feature - sometimes you want to go fast, other times it's better to have more “precision”. Actually, count me as a Logitech Mouse fan - tried ones from Microsoft, Trust, etc and they've always felt “compromised” in comparison.

Hmm, admire your enthusiasm, not quite sure I'd agree. I've got a call out for a non-installing copy of SetPoint on Win XP at the moment, and we're at the “send us a dozen log files” stage. That's after the UK support site call I logged mysteriously got sent to the US (by mistake?) and they then had to forward it. At least they're answering the mails and seem friendly/interested. Hopefully we can get a solution soon and I can continue to give them the thumbs-up.

As to their eCommerce, (buying products from Logitech direct), don't get me started - inefficient, and not helpful. But then again, I had the same problem with Ubisoft and their eCommerce support folks were equally useless. sigh!.

Big fan of the products though - gone from K510 to K340 to K800 keyboard, and I tend to recommend Logi's mice too.
