Anarchy in the TI
For those looking for something slightly less extreme, KFA2 has the marginally tamer GTX 560 TI EX OC. Although the cooler is custom, the board is based largely on the reference design, meaning you don't get most of the fancy enthusiast features. The voltage measurement point has survived though, and it also gets the benefit of a dual-BIOS, which should let you push the card to the limits without worrying about making your system unbootable.
The cooler is made up of a pair of 90mm 'TwinBlade' fans that can be removed as a part of the manufacturer's third-gen detachable design. The combination of the two blowers and a heatsink with almost twice as many fins as the stock version should mean that the card runs at least 10° cooler and 11dB quieter than the reference design.
This GPU gets a bit of an overclock as well, although the new speeds are still quite modest. The core will run at 835MHz for a shader clock of 1,670MHz, while the RAM will remain at the default 4,000MHz. Of course, you can always turn things up a notch using the included Xtreme Tuner HD OC utility.
Although we don't have any details on pricing, both of KFA2's custom GTX 560 TIs should be available now through all of the normal channels.
