BFG's latest NVIDIA 9800 GTX variant, cleverly dubbed the 9800 GTX H2OC, uses a custom cooling solution co-developed by BFG and Danger Den, to provide one of the highest-clocked cards in its class.

The 512MiB card, pictured below with "ThermoIntelligence copper water block", has a core clock of 780MHz - that's 105MHz more than NVIDIA's reference design. Similarly, the shader clock has been bumped from 1688MHz to 1944MHz and the memory data rate jumps from 2200MHz to 2320MHz.

Impressive figures, in an impressive single-slot design that'll run in complete silence.

John Malley, senior director of marketing for BFG Technologies, says:

"With the addition of our custom high-performance water block, we’ve been able to safely overclock the 9800 GTX to an unprecedented 780MHz on the core clock, and 1944MHz on the shader clock. Each card is hand-built by a trained BFG technician using Arctic Silver thermal compound, and is exceptionally cool and totally silent - delivering up to a 28°C lower GPU operating temperature than reference cooling solutions."

The card supports both two-way and three-way SLI, and comes complete with 1/2in and 3/8in fittings, allowing for seamless integration into most water cooling system loops, says BFG.

Its complete specification, as detailed by BFG Technologies, is as follows:

Looks and sounds good, DangerDen are a brand name in w/c so will be trusted to deliver the performance expected. I wonder if the block will fit the next gen of cards (coming soon, so we're told), bit of a waste if it doesn't.
Ye looks good, be nice to own one of them…. shame they have the ‘2’ superscript instead of subscript :P or many its deliberate…..
always works out cheaper to buy a stock card and add your own water block !

and BFG allow you to remove the heatsink so whats stopping u !
What an excellent design. Almost enough to take me over to… the wet side. ;-)
