Foxconn's innovative thermal control for Intel Prescott and ATI R580 proposed as 'only realistic option' to BTX form factor

Foxconn have created a outstanding dual-purpose cooler suitable for use on Intel's cool-running Prescott-core Pentium 4 processor, and ATI's positively freezing R580 GPU. Mounting to either product via special hardware and requiring the assistance of an IEEE-certified engineer, the new Foxcoon KODE5 cooler -- created to both celebrate and power the KODE5 events via the use of gamer's emissions -- isn't the easiest thing to fit, but the cooling performance isn't in any question.

Rumour has it that ATI are considering an even bigger version for R600, but we can't confirm either way, as enquiries of ATI's Chris Evenden currently remain unanswered. Again. Chris?

Owners of London's 'Millennium Eye' are apparently demanding its spindle bearing back, though to date Foxconn's Michael Littler has refused to comment in this respect.

On the upside, todays news has brought speculation that the stock shares of Japanese thermal interface material manufacturer Shin Etsu may sky-rocket, whilst shares in Japanese fan-manufacturer Sanyo Denki could spin down, until it brings to market its much anticpated 1944x1066mm axial fan, believed to be codenamed the 'Rys0r Gasper'.

In the meantime Foxconn seem to be considering a passive-cooling option, but as prices of metals have recently risen sharply across the world, we understand that Mr. Littler has been engaged in negotiations with the Latvian Navy, this with a view to using one of its decommisioned aircraft carriers as the source of the requsite raw materials.

The attachment method of an aircraft carrier to a Radeon X1900 XTX GPU remains somewhat unclear, but Foxconn seem committed to the project.
