PRESS RELEASE
Series Includes CFast, mSATA, and M2 in Durable SLC NAND Flash
SAN JOSE, CA (December 10, 2015) -- Addonics Technologies (www.addonics.com) is shipping a new family of SSDs that support the CFast, mSATA and M2 form factors in both Industrial or Enterprise class grades.
The Addonics Industrial class SSD is one of the most reliable SSDs on the market. Made of SLC NAND flash, the Addonics Industrial SSD boosts the TBW (total bytes written) durability five to eight times more than commercial grade MLC SSD.
For applications that demand the highest reliability, Addonics SSDs made with SLC NAND flash are the best choice. This highly durable SSD is ideal for mission critical applications that are deployed in industries such as data centers, finance and aerospace or manufacturing facilities with equipment operating in a harsh environment. All Addonics SLC NAND flash SSDs are rated to operate in the industrial temperature range of (- 45°C - 80 °C ).
The Addonics Enterprise class SSD uses MLC NAND flash. Also rated to operate in the industrial temperature range, this Enterprise class SSD is more cost-effective than the Addonics Industrial grade SSD. However MLC NAND Flash, due to the higher storage capacity per cell incurs higher READ/WRITE cycles per cell than SLC SSD, which decreases the durability.
Addonics new SSDs range from 4GB to 256GB capacity. Addonics also offers a full line of converters, readers and duplicators for the most common SSD form factors.
Suggested retail prices of the Addonics Industrial grade mSATA Flash SSD is $325 for 32GB. The Enterprise class mSATA SSD starts at $54 for 32G. For more information see http://addonics.com/category/fm-ssd.php.
