KeySonic launch their Laser Mouse

First we had the ball-based mouse, and then the optical mouse. The high-end computer peripheral manufacturer KeySonic now introduce their 1600dpi Laser Mouse; their most accurate and receptive yet. Dependable, ergonomical and glides like a dream. The level of accuracy is perfect for gaming, internet surfing and professional applications such as editing and graphic design.

The highly responsive Laser Mouse comes in three models, with 30 times more sensitivity to surface detail than standard LED optical mice and 50% more receptive than the laser mice currently on the market. Taking a total of 6700 frames per second, it converts this information into digital format which enables the mouse’s precise location, speed and direction of travel to be calculated. A leap in mouse technology.

This precise laser technology allows the mouse to track with startling accuracy and microscopic detail on previously impossible-to-navigate surfaces, such as highly polished, wood-grain, metal and even most mirrored surfaces with greater receptiveness than ever before. Leaving mouse mats a thing of the past.

The cable connection enables the pointer to react instantaneously to the mouse’s position, and is also lighter as there is no battery burden to carry on its back. The models are visually very different; with aluminium retro designed Warp Laser Mouse, the Warp “Soft-Skin” Laser Mouse version or a left-handed ergonomical model. All designs feature an illuminated scroll button and are Windows and Mac compatible.

The Laser Mouse will be unleashed upon the U.K market late August, challenging the MX1000 Logitech mouse and has an expected retail price of, a very reasonable £15.00 excl VAT.
