Built with the highly regarded Cherry Gold Crosspoint contacts and with specially adjusted coil springs, the buttons of the RAPTOR-GAMING K1 offer a 30% shorter stroke than conventional keyboards together with a very soft action This maximises the keystroke speed and reactivity in game playing – whilst at the same time lowering fatigue effects giving gaming enthusiasts a real advantage.
Supplied with the keyboard are 8 afterglow keytops which can be used to replace any of the standard square buttons, enabling users to chose their favourite key pattern for optimum gaming enjoyment. Lasting for up to 12 hours, the glowing light from these keytops allows for top visibility of the chosen keys – even in darkened rooms. The button light can be charged with any light source, including an LED torch.
For added gaming performance, the RAPTOR-GAMING K1 implements the “Cherry Full-N-Key-Rollover” function enabling users to simultaneously press all modifier buttons (i.e. Shift key, Ctrl button, Alt and Windows button) as well as 6 additional shortcut buttons, without loosing or confusing any information (ghost button effect). In order to avoid unintended actions, each square button can be equipped with a lock (8 button locks are included). The button locks avoid unintended action surrounding the personalised keys and thus delivers another gaming advantage.
