ATI Announces Support for AMD Athlon 64 Processors

ATI products fully compatible with 64-bit PC applications



Markham, Ontario/ Munich, Germany - September 23, 2003 - ATI Technologies Inc. (TSX: ATY, NASDAQ: ATYT) today announced that its full range of RADEONÔ desktop and mobile products offer complete support for the new AMD Athlon(tm) 64 processors announced today. The AMD Athlon 64 processor provides simultaneous 32- and 64-bit processing for desktops and notebooks. All of ATI's current RADEON products support existing 32-bit applications and future 64-bit PC applications, delivering world-class performance.
