Ok, so over on a myspace news channel, Xbox 360 Fanboy they've a shot of a repaired Xbox 360 with an extra option in the Media Blade, oddly labelled as '0000' but with a description in the pop-up about watching and recording TV and on demand movies.Now whilst IPTV is nothing new, streaming to and through the Xbox 360 has been promised for bloody ages with still nothing happening, so maybe it's coming at last... But in which territories is what interests me. IPTV can be turly global but you can bet your bum, there's a good chance we'll lag behind the States on this one.
And another thing, there's an option to watch live and recorded TV or chat whilst watching TV. Seeing as you'll need a tuner for that this might be a short cut into Media Centre's TV abilities or could mean that more Xbox 360 hardware is on the way in the form of a TV decoder...
