Nokia has officially unveiled the Lumia 625 smartphone. This new smartphone is heralded by Nokia as "Fun, Fast and Affordable". It packs a large 4.7-inch super sensitive screen, 4G network access, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and supports micro-SD cards up to 64GB in size. As you have come to expect from Nokia, it will be made available in several bright colours, with a choice of five (orange, yellow, bright green, white and black) interchangeable shells.
Jo Harlow, executive vice president, Nokia Smart Devices, said "With our largest smartphone screen to date, the Nokia Lumia 625 is a perfect example of how Nokia is delivering leading smartphone innovation and experiences at every price point." The official Nokia blog says the Lumia 625 with its large screen and 4G connectivity will "bring a premium entertainment and communication experience at a very affordable price".

Nokia took the opportunity to remind us that the Windows Phone 8 app library is growing, with "more than 165,000 apps including Vimeo, Temple Run and WhatsApp" now available. Also the free Nokia Music app offers "unlimited streaming of ad-free mixes without registration or subscription".
Some colourful new BOOM and Knock headphones, made in partnership with Coloud, which make a great accessory to your Lumia, were also announced. These headphones feature an integrated microphone and buttons for voice calls and music control. You can see the BOOM set in one of the photos above.
The Nokia Lumia 625 is planned to be released in Q3 2013 worldwide, except for it seems in North America. The estimated retail price, before tax, is 220 Euros.
