The perfectly balanced 10.1 inch tablet PC
The Gadgetshow 2014, Birmingham NEC - 9th April 2014 - Schenker Technologies UK Ltd, subsidiary of Schenker Technologies GmbH today announced their first ever tablet PC amongst their line-up of award winning gaming and high-end business laptops. The Schenker Element is a full Windows 8.1, Intel quad core, 10.1 inch tablet available in 32GB and 64GB 3G configurations.

A laptop companion
Schenker has largely specialised in powerful gaming and workstation laptops for over 10 years, maintaining a philosophy of portability without compromise of performance. The introduction of the Element compliments the Schenker laptop range perfectly by offering the ultimate 10.1 inch tablet featuring full Windows 8.1 operating system, 64-bit Intel® AtomTM Z3740D 1.8GHz quad-core processor and plenty of connectivity - the ideal companion to a Schenker laptop.
The Element features a black tough-glass capacitive touchscreen, rubberised rear coating for increased grip and an optional smart cover and keyboard dock to give the tablet a high level of protection while vastly increasing productivity. The 1280x800 screen is built on IPS technology providing great viewing angles, contrast and colour reproduction, which is perfect for the Windows 8.1 touchscreen environment and desktop applications.
It is extremely thin and light, weighing only 594g and 9.7mm thick, whilst providing up to 8 hours of battery life. In true Schenker style, the Element is also jam-packed with connectivity including 2.4 and 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G (64GB version only), Mini HDMI to HDMI adapter and Micro USB to USB adapter. The front facing 2 mega-pixel camera is ideal for skype and video conferencing combined with an in-built microphone while the 5 mega-pixel rear camera is tuned for photos and video capture.
The internal super-fast SSD memory can be expanded up to 196GB with a Micro-SD slot, enough for most power users with plenty of room for documents, music and video. If higher capacities are required an external USB storage device can also be used for backups or accessing additional large files.
