Conclusion

Technically, Singlularity does have some failings. The AI, for example, can be very predictable. Mutants generally run at you as fast as they can, chasing you wherever you go - you'd expect that from mutants - but soldiers will sometimes do the same and won't duck to take cover or move into a good position. This is clearly a game that was meant to be played at a certain pace and that may put off some people that were hoping for a more strategic shooter. The lack of memorable set-pieces and really engaging boss battles has also knocked down our final score slightly.

Nevertheless, this is a really solid shooter that has exceeded our expectations. The storyline and location of Katurga-12 are excellent backing for the game's smooth control scheme, range of weapons and intense battles. With some great and innovative games already out this year that are pushing the boundaries of our consoles to the very limits, Singularity is actually a breath of retro-filled fresh air.

Playing this for 2 days already. An OK title. Nice mix of Bioshock, Timeshift and HL2 but gameplay is very linear and not exactly original. Was actually not expecting such a poor graphics with UT3 engine :(

Yeah definitely unoriginal gameplay, but I think it runs really smoothly and it's fun. I really love it, it's been keeping off playing tons of other games for the last week.
