Superbly comfy but there's a knack to it
So, now we’ve covered the technical aspects of setting up a bean bag, (*sigh*), let’s have look at how good it is in actual use.And oh my lord, is this the comfiest thing ever? Damn straight it is! I have to admit that at first I was completely gobsmacked by how bloody huge the Omni is but that size works for it as it’s soooo comfortable it’s untrue. Like those memory foam beds that everyone is flogging now, a properly inflated/deflated Omni just moulds itself to your body and instantly becomes the most comfortable you’ve ever been in.
It takes a bit of getting used to to set it up properly, I found tilting it at a 30 degree angle before flumping in, but once you’ve got the knack it’s incredibly comfy. Of course, you can stand it upright on the seams and straddle it, but for a full body support, lounge back and relax experience, you need to tilt the Omni off of vertical and plant yourself into it.
As soon as you do, it sculpts itself to your body and that’s it, you’re in. Should you need to adjust your position a tad, just give the Omni a couple of swift elbows or wiggle your arse a bit and it resettles… lovely.
Now, I don’t know about you but I like to slouch when I’m gaming and my sofa, sadly, just doesn’t cut it. My legs always feel a bit stretched out and my lower back unsupported. Not so with the Omni, I can slouch as much as I want and though my chiropractor would probably wince at me slouched into the Omni, I gamed for three solid hours as comfy as can be.
But this isn’t just for gaming, it’s for general lounging too and of course it’s just as comfy then. Reading the Sunday paper, lying face down in a flat Omni is wonderful, you’re just the right height off the floor to not have to lift your elbows to turn the pages and the best thing is, if you spill your latte down it, the nylon is wipe lean and stain resistant.
