Rockstar have bowed down to pressure from groups seeking to ban their controversial game 'Bully'. The action adventure game is still planned for an October release but Rockstar have comprimised on the title. ' Bully' will now be called 'Canis Canem Edit', a latin term (and the school motto) meaning 'Dog Eat Dog'. The changes are said to affect Europe, but the name 'Bully' will still remain in North American territories.
Bully takes the Rockstar tradition of groundbreaking, innovative, original gameplay and humorous tongue-in-cheek storytelling to an entirely new setting: the schoolyard. Bully is the brutally funny debut title from Rockstar Vancouver and is expected to hit retail shelves in October 2006.
As a troublesome schoolboy, you'll laugh and cringe as you stand up to bullies, get picked on by teachers, play pranks on malicious kids, win or lose the girl, and ultimately learn to navigate the obstacles of the fictitious reform school, Bullworth Academy.
