Halo 3 will be the last game in the Halo series. The critically acclaimed Halo and Halo 2 have both been huge games for the Xbox, with Halo 2 being the most popular game to be played over Xbox live. Although fans may shed a tear at the thought of no more Master Chief, Spong have brought word that Bungie may well reveal their next blockbuster title at X06, "a new game from Bungie, not Halo 4, will be announced soon and pre-production has begun. So if you're looking for what to expect at X06, you should be looking at that," says the UK based gaming website.

Spong also speculate that "another trilogy, likely a prequel, will be announced at some point in the next 12 months."

The end of Halo will mean that Bungie will be putting everything they have into Halo 3 in an attempt to finish the series in style.

XO6, which is taking place in Barcelona at the end of September, has been rumoured to be the place where Microsoft will reveal Halo 3 in its glory.

As the end of an era approaches its end, a new one is about to dawn.

Hopefully a lot of extra effort will be put into Halo 3 to let the series go out with a bang.
I think the mandatory:
“Will this game run on Geforce 440MX?”
is needed. Yes i realise Halo 3 is a console game (for now) :)
Then you need the mandatory reply: "The x360 is a geforce 440MX" :p
(last spam post) followed by “will my 203424934GB X210290328-XTXTX GTX GX2 SUPER EDITION run this?”, anyway actually on topic now ;): I can't wait for this game, I'm only really interested in the storyline tbh. Wanna see how it all ends :)
The trailer for Halo 3 is rather fab. If anybody has their 360 hooked up to a nice surround system, crank it up loud and watch it.

When that big crater in the floor opens up you totally feel the rumble.
