Not as pointless as you may think?

Once upon a time, they made televisions without SCART or composite video inputs. No, really, they did. Nowadays even the cheaper 14” tellies have a SCART socket but there are still tellies out there that rely purely on RF input… I should know, I have one in the bedroom.

So if it weren’t for the fact my Xbox 360 is plugged into my big TV downstairs, I might have been interested in this Pelican Xbox 360 RF adapter. Yes, yes, I know. I can hear you asking just why would you spend £300 on an Xbox 360 and then turn the high quality visuals to crud by playing it over an RF connection to your telly but there you go, I guess there must be a need for it somewhere.

That said, I run my Xbox through an RF adapter for that ancient telly in the bedroom. Why? Well because I just can’t bring myself to throw out a bit of kit and now at least I have a DVD player in the bedroom!
