Good news for fans of the Forza racing series as developer Turn 10 Studios has today announced that Forza Motorsport 3 has gone gold.
To coincide with that milestone, Turn 10 has also announced that a demo of the hugely-anticipated title will be made available via Xbox Live Marketplace on Thursday September 24th.
According to Turn 10, the demo will allow users to get a feel for Forza 3's all-new cockpit view, its improved damage modelling and new non-gamer-friendly features such as the ability to rewind races.
The demo will give drivers the opportunity to explore the Camino Viejo circuit in one of the five following cars:
- 2007 Porsche #80 Flying Lizard 911 GT3-RSR
- 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR
- 2009 Mini John Cooper Works
- 2009 Ferrari California
- 2010 Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro
For the hardcore racer, the demo will provide support for leaderboards so we'll be expecting some fierce competition in the HEXUS.community forums prior to the final European launch of Forza Motorsport 3 on October 23rd.
