In one of the earlier quests, you're tasked with speaking to a monk in Oakfield. However, if you leave the building during the conversation and then try to return to the monk later in the game to progress the story he won't respond. This game breaking glitch can only be avoided if you listen to the entire conversation before exiting the church.
A quick glance over at the official Fable II forums indicates that there are many bugs within the game, including graphical glitches, quests that can't be completed and game freezes.
Our tip is to save frequently until a patch arrives. We've already been a victim of game freeze and had to replay about an hour's worth of story.
Lionhead has been quick to react to the complaints stating that it is "watching and listening to you, the community, and are looking into all serious issues that are bought to our attention." As well as detailing how to avoid these glitches, the developer is working on a patch that should fix all known issues.
No excuses for the errors though, "Some things slip through the net during development, especially when a game is the size and scope of Fable II," Lionhead noted .
